Terms of service.
The deal between you and us when you book a repair.
Last updated · 21 April 2026
1. The agreement
When you book a repair — through the AI chat, on the phone, or via WhatsApp — you're entering a contract with Door to Door Fix Ltd. These terms cover that contract.
2. Quotes and pricing
The price we quote upfront is the price you pay, provided the device matches the description you gave us. If we find additional damage on inspection (e.g. a screen booking turns out to also need a new battery), we'll stop, tell you, and only proceed if you agree to the new price.
3. No fix, no fee
If we can't complete the repair, you owe us nothing. The exception is if you've agreed to a non-refundable diagnostic charge upfront — we'll always make that explicit before we start.
4. Warranty
- Screens and batteries: 90 days against parts failure
- Charging ports and other parts: 30 days
- Warranty doesn't cover new physical damage, water damage or third-party tampering
5. Payment
You pay once the repair is complete and you've confirmed satisfaction — by card, Apple/Google Pay, or bank transfer. Online card payments are processed by Stripe.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel any time before the technician arrives at no charge. If we've already started the repair, you'll be billed for any parts ordered.
7. Liability
We carry public liability insurance up to £2m. Our liability for any single repair is capped at the fee paid for that repair, except where prohibited by UK consumer law (which always overrides anything in these terms).
8. Data
We never unlock your phone. We don't access your photos, messages or accounts. See our privacy policy for what we do collect and why.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
