About software repair.
/ 01Will I lose my data?+
For most software fixes, no. We try every non-destructive route first — DFU restore preserving data, recovery mode, custom IPSW where applicable. We only erase as a last resort, and only with your explicit OK.
/ 02My iPhone is stuck on the activation screen — can you fix that?+
Yes, if you can sign in to the original Apple ID. We cannot bypass Activation Lock without that — Apple's anti-theft system is exactly what stops us doing it. Bring the Apple ID and password and we will sort it.
/ 03I forgot my passcode. Can you get into the phone without wiping it?+
Modern iPhones and Pixels: no. Their secure enclave is by design impossible to bypass without a wipe. Older Androids: sometimes, depending on model. We will tell you honestly on the call.
/ 04How long does a software fix take?+
15–25 minutes for most jobs. Full OS restores can run 45 minutes if your model needs to download a fresh firmware bundle.
