/ 01Why is an S-series or Ultra screen more than an A-series?+
The A-series uses a smaller, simpler panel, which keeps it at £85–£135. Ultra and the newest S models use a larger curved AMOLED that costs far more as a part, so they sit at £199–£279.
/ 02Can you repair a Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip screen?+
Yes — both the inner folding display and the outer cover screen. They are the most expensive panels on the market, which is why they sit at the top of the band; the technician confirms the exact price for your model before starting.
/ 03Is the screen replaced with the frame, or just the glass?+
On most Galaxy models the screen is replaced as one assembly — glass and display together — because the two are bonded. That is what the band covers.
/ 04Will the fingerprint reader still work?+
On models with the reader under the screen, it works with a correctly fitted panel; the technician tests it in front of you before you pay the balance.
